The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cooper in his tracks.
Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Cooper is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cooper jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diaz walks away with a smile on his face. Cooper gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Diaz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Diaz.
Sheldon Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
