The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mileav gets a takedown into half guard.
Ball works his way to full guard. Good work.
Ball seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mileav throws a strike but Ball rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ball stands up from half guard.

Ball fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mileav to the ground. Ball is now in Mileav's guard.

Mileav wants to control but Ball passes easily into half guard.
Ball passes into side control, despite Mileav's attempt to control the position.

Mileav is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ball connects with a decent elbow.

Ball decides to stand back up. Ball steps back and let's Mileav get back to his feet.
Mileav throws a body punch but Ball moves out of range.

and Ball counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Mileav has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ball after a bit of a struggle.
Big Ball has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sabbah Mileav.

Mileav looks winded!

Ball is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mileav can't fight it off and eventually Ball manages to take the fight to the floor. Mileav looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ball decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mileav fails with a takedown attempt.
Mileav throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ball's waist but Ball gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mileav off to one side.

Mileav tries to sprawl but Ball drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Ball maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mileav could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ball has cracked it and Mileav is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ball!
