Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Allan Newmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knez Lazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Allan Newmann has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Allan Newmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knez Lazar!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Newmann as Lazar shoots in.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lazar wants to take a breather but Newmann is having none of it.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Knez Lazar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lazar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Newmann darts in looking for a takedown but Lazar gets double underhooks and turns Newmann into the cage.
Newmann is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lazar is defending well for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Newmann. Lazar shrugs it off though.

Lazar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Newmann quickly recovers to half guard.

Knez Lazar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lazar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Newmann gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
