Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Conlon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Bobcat!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conlon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Conlon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bobcat circles away quickly and effectively.
Conlon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Bobcat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Conlon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Conlon wants to control but Bobcat postures up.
Bobcat throws a strike aimed at the side of Conlon's head but Conlon avoids it well.

Bobcat connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Conlon some visible discomfort.

Bobcat closes the distance and clinches up with Conlon, looking for a takedown. Bobcat pushes Conlon against the cage but Conlon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bobcat walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bobcat has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Conlon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bobcat tries to clinch up but Conlon circles away and keeps his distance.

Billy Bobcat dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Conlon lands a slapping body shot.
Bobcat throws a head kick that Conlon semi-blocks.

Bobcat stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bobcat throws a right hand that Conlon ducks under and follows up with a left that Conlon also avoids with ease.
Conlon throws a series of punches but Bobcat moves out of range.
Conlon swings for the body but Bobcat moves out of range.
Conlon scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bobcat throws a sloppy head kick and Conlon moves out of range easily.
Conlon throws out a powerful jab.
Conlon misses with a few strikes there.
Bobcat fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Conlon misses with the combination.
Bobcat is breathing heavily.
Conlon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bobcat moves away.
Bobcat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bobcat rushes Conlon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Conlon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bobcat has Conlon pressed against the cage, preventing Conlon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Conlon has had enough of the clinch but Bobcat keeps him there for the moment.

Conlon stuns Bobcat with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bobcat seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I think Bobcat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
