Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angelus Wales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wales has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davies changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wales looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wales looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Davies looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Davies stands up.

Davies feints and as Wales raises his hands in defense, Davies changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Davies stands and throws Wales's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Davies wants to control but Wales is keeping him busy.
Wales stops Davies from passing to mount.
Davies connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Wales some visible discomfort.
Davies advances to mount.

Davies has hold of Wales's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wales manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Davies is working for a guillotine from mount but Wales frees his head quite easily.

Wales is squirming around, avoiding Davies's attempts to control the action.
Davies moves to the back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davies is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Davies is looking to control Wales but Wales is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Davies is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Davies is looking for the choke from the back position but Wales is controlling his hands well.
Wales covering up well and avoiding damage.
Davies really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Wales.

Davies is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wales has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wales trying to control the hands but Davies won't let him.
Wales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davies on the ground.

Davies is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Wales is defending well though. Davies let's go of the attempt for now.

Davies is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Wales with him. Wales is trying to defend but Davies has an arm under the chin now! Wales grimaces and is forced to tap out!
