Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Callum Cat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Brokeyes!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cat slaps away a takedown attempt from Brokeyes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brokeyes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A big right from Cat misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Cat misses the target.
Brokeyes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cat circles away.
Cat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brokeyes swivels and escapes.
Brokeyes shoots in looking for a takedown but Cat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brokeyes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Callum Cat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Brokeyes.
Brokeyes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brokeyes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cat pinned against the cage. Cat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cat dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cat connects with a single shot there.
Cat shoots for a double leg takedown but Brokeyes sprawls well. He's pushed Cat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cat lands the left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cat misses with a head kick.
Cat lands a really nice looking cross but Brokeyes seems unphased.
Brokeyes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Brokeyes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brokeyes there as he acknowledges the shot.


Brokeyes is rocked!

Cat dives in and scores a takedown into Brokeyes's guard.
Brokeyes is still in real trouble! Can Cat finish him?
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Cat scoring with punches to the head and body.
Cat controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Cat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Callum Cat.
Brokeyes slips under a jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brokeyes seems to have recovered his senses.
Brokeyes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cat misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cat connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
No luck for Brokeyes with that takedown attempt.

Cat drops Brokeyes with a right and a left! Cat comes rushing in but Brokeyes regains his composure and manages to keep Cat in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cat slips nicely into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cat is working for a kimura but Brokeyes is defending it quite comfortably.

Cat in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Brokeyes tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Cat!
