The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Inspectah Deck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good work by Deck as he checks the leg kick.
Deck dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cooter. That did some damage!

Cooter is trying to trip Deck. He has hold of a leg but Deck is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cooter persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Deck breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cooter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Deck throws a nice inside leg kick.
Deck misses with a series of wild punches.
Cooter has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Deck fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cooter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Deck feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cooter sprawling to the canvas! Cooter rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Deck finish him?!

Cooter is rocked!
Cooter gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Deck gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Cooter is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
