Yuudai comes into the arena with Fear of the dark - Iron Maiden blaring out of the sound system. Alexandre Preuss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss throws a leg kick but Yuudai checks it.
Yuudai doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Preuss to counter with a crisp jab.
Preuss misses with a double jab

and Yuudai counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yuudai won't allow Preuss to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Preuss can do anything to dispel that myth.
Yuudai sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Preuss's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yuudai seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Preuss is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
