Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Jean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestling Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast has chosen Sweet Child O'mine - Guns N' Roses as his entrance music. Jean Jean had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Wrestling Beast has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jean connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beast scrambles back to his feet.

Beast shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beast showed some decent athleticism there.
Beast lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Beast lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beast connects with a nice short shot to Jean's temple.
Jean on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jean tries to get out of the position.
Beast lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beast throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Beast is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Beast has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Beast seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jean does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Beast lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Jean! Beast sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Jean and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
