Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ozuma Obata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obata comes to the cage accompanied by Hijack The Terrorist Group - Hijack. Roth has chosen Shawn Michaels - Sexy Boy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 2, fighting out of New York, Daniel Roth!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roth comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've been told by Obata's head coaches at Ceiba Video Games that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Roth misses with a takedown attempt - Obata sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roth shoots in for a double leg but Obata sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Roth fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Obata.
Obata fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roth manages to avoid it.

Obata rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Roth moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Roth shoots in looking for a takedown but Obata manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Roth uses his free foot to push down on Obata's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Obata.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Roth cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Roth is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Obata is surviving well by controlling Roth's body position as best he can.
Obata is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Roth loads up with a big shot that hurts Obata! He's pulled Roth in close but Roth has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Obata survive? More strikes from Roth and Obata is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Daniel Roth!
Daniel Roth was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
