Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kuuya Ueda!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like JayDee Penn has been cut.
Ueda is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Penn shoots in for a double leg but Ueda sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ueda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Penn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ueda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ueda lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! Ueda takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Penn fails with the takedown.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ueda.
Ueda moves into the clinch successfully.
Ueda working the clinch nicely. Penn is working for position but Ueda cracks him with a big knee to the head! Penn crumples up against the cage and Ueda lands two more shots before the ref can save Penn! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee & Punches). Kuuya Ueda!
