Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristijan Saso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kristijan Saso is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Billy Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kristijan Saso!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saso shoots in but no luck this time.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but Saso shows good takedown defense.

Hill decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hill is working for a kimura but Saso is defending it quite comfortably.
Saso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Hill is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Saso is just riding it out for now. Hill eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hill has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Saso defend it? Hill steps over the head and cranks it - Saso is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hill!
