The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lod finds it's way round the side to connect with Ronson's head.
Ronson misses with a hook to the body
and Lod counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lod punishes Ronson's body with a nice straight punch.
Ronson tries to score with a low kick but Lod moves his leg out of the way.
Lod scores with a three punch combo!
Ronson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ronson swings for the body but Lod moves out of range.
Ronson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ronson throws a low kick, looking for Lod's leg but Lod calmly moves out of range.
Ronson misses with a looping left.
Lod moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ronson drops his hands momentarily and Lod takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ronson throws an off balance right hand
and Lod counters with a left to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lod lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ronson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lod uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ronson.
Ronson throws a front kick aimed at Lod's knee but Lod avoids it well.
Lod cracks Ronson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Ronson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lod is fending him off so far but Ronson persists. Nope, Lod circles away and we're back to standing.

Charles Ronson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ronson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ronson.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lod is not content to let Ronson control the position.

Lod tries to buck Ronson off but Ronson is having none of it.
Ronson throws a strike aimed at the side of Lod's head but Lod avoids it well.
Ronson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Lod tries to improve position but can't.

Lod is trying to escape the position but Ronson is controlling the position.
Ronson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lod is looking for a sweep.
Ronson is chipping away with strikes.
Lod takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Lod takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lod tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ronson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ronson crunches a massive hammerfist down on Lod - he's out! Ronson Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
