Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivanov comes to the cage accompanied by HINO RUSSO. Fowler has chosen "On The Hunt" by Lynyrd Skynyrd as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fowler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ivanov.

Ivanov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fowlers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fowler has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fowler misses with a hook. Ivanov ducked under it nicely.

Fowler is trying to trip Ivanov. He has hold of a leg but Ivanov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fowler persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fowler works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fowler uses his free foot to push down on Ivanov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ivanov.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ivanov is desperately trying to improve his position but Fowler has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fowler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fowler working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Ivanov turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fowler off and cradles Ivanov's limp body as Fowler celebrates with his corner.
