Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Boss Castro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugo Chavez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez throws a sloppy head kick and Castro moves out of range easily.
Hugo Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good shot there by Chavez.
Castro with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Castro drops Chavez with a beautiful combination! Chavez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Castro is looking for the KO!

It looks like Hugo Chavez has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chavez just misses with a punch to the body.
Castro staying out of range there.
Chavez lands with a shot to the body.
Castro looks to throw the jab but Chavez is out of range.
Chavez throws a nice inside leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Castro.
Chavez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chavez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Castro eats them both and turns towards Chavez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Chavez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chavez throws the left hand but Castro avoids the punch easily.
Castro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chavez throws a head kick but Castro moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Castro moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Castro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Castro fails with an attempt to clinch.

Chavez clinches up with Castro and pushes him back against the cage.

Chavez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chavez connects with the punch.
Castro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chavez lands a big uppercut and Castro crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Castro looks OK. Chavez waves Castro back to his feet!

Castro is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chavez misses with a body kick.
Oh Castro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chavez cracks Castro with a hook to the temple - Castro is on wobbly legs here! Chavez swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Castro falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Chavez wins by TKO!
