Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Vigilante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vigilante's choice of entrance music: Die for Metal. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vigilante throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Vigilante moves out of range of the strikes.
Pereira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vigilante moves away.
Vigilante connects with a crisp jab.
Vigilante is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vigilante avoids the elbow strike from Pereira, against the cage.

After the fight, Vinny Vigilante was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
