The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MataBestia connects with a body shot that sends Tze Long's belly button to the back.
Tze Long uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by MataBestia .
Tze Long shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MataBestia sprawls well. MataBestia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tze Long gets slowly back to his feet.
MataBestia misses the shot to the body.
Huang Tze Long seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tze Long fails to land the takedown.
Tze Long tries to clinch
and MataBestia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tze Long with a lazy takedown attempt

Ezequiel MataBestia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huang Tze Long.
Tze Long tries to clinch but MataBestia is having none of it.
MataBestia throws a low kick but Tze Long moves out of range easily.
Tze Long shoots in looking for a takedown. MataBestia tries to sprawl out of it but Tze Long keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. MataBestia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tze Long moves to clinch but MataBestia breaks away
and MataBestia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A jab from MataBestia finds it's way through Tze Long's defenses.
MataBestia keeps the fight on the outside.
MataBestia throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tze Long tries to clinch there but MataBestia circles away.
Tze Long takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tze Long closes the distance looking to clinch
and MataBestia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
MataBestia digs a good hook to Tze Long's body.
A looping hook to the body misses from MataBestia . Tze Long does a little dance to reset his feet.
MataBestia leaves Tze Long with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tze Long shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches MataBestia napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tze Long is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. MataBestia knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MataBestia tries to get back to half guard but can't.
MataBestia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if MataBestia tries to get out of the position.
Tze Long is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. MataBestia looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tze Long gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. MataBestia is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tze Long lets go of the hold and MataBestia can pop his arm back in it's socket.
