Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tane Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Lupul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the ring accompanied by it was over. Lupul has chosen Strangled With A Halo, Pig Destroyer as his entrance music. Tane Thompson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupul closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thompson circles away.
Lupul looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thompson!
Thompson tries to lock up and control but Lupul gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lupul is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thompson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lupul is trying to trip Thompson. He has hold of a leg but Thompson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lupul persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
