Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valdez comes to the cage accompanied by Walk This Way. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch tries to clinch there but Valdez circles away.
Punch stuffs the takedown attempt from Valdez. Valdez gets slowly back to his feet.

Valdez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Punch is fending him off so far but Valdez persists. Nope, Punch circles away and we're back to standing.

Valdez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Punch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Punch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Punch has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
