PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Kerouac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerouac's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hate Me Now. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kerouac swivels and escapes.

Kerouac changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kerouac is looking to take a break and control but Kane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kane moves into range and connects with a jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kane.
Kane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kerouac.

Kane is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kerouac knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kerouac for a finish.

Kane has control of Kerouac's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kerouac regains control of the situation pretty easily.
