Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Mcgreggor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick The Highlight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joey Mcgreggor had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Mcgreggor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick The Highlight!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Highlight gets a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mcgreggor is trying to stand.

The Highlight is working for a submission of some sort.

The Highlight is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mcgreggor has managed to free his arm - good work.
The Highlight is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcgreggor pushes The Highlight off looking to stand but The Highlight dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The Highlight is looking for a kimura but Mcgreggor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for The Highlight to get the leverage.
The Highlight thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mcgreggor's head.

The Highlight is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The Highlight tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcgreggor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw The Highlight working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Mcgreggor tries to kick The Highlight off but The Highlight keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The Highlight is trying to work for a kimura but Mcgreggor is defending well.
The Highlight prevents Mcgreggor from standing back up.
Mcgreggor is not content to let The Highlight control the position.
The Highlight uses his free foot to push down on Mcgreggor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcgreggor.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The Highlight swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
