Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pooman Skidoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by God Gave Me Style . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pooman Skidoo!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Skidoo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Skidoo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Skidoo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jones is looking to score with low kicks.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Skidoo.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws out a leg kick but Skidoo moves out of range and Jones only half commits.

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Skidoo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones wants to slow Skidoo down by chopping away at his legs.
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Skidoo.
Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pooman Skidoo.

Skidoo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Skidoo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Skidoo.

Skidoo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.

Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Skidoo off and has taken his back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Skidoo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Jones is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Skidoo is defending well though. Jones let's go of the attempt for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Jones lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Skidoo covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Skidoo's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Skidoo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Skidoo off to one side.

Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones throws a series of punches but Skidoo avoids them all with ease.
Jones fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Skidoo on the side of the head.
Jones swings for the body but Skidoo moves out of range.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Skidoo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Skidoo somewhat.

Jones throws a right and a left that Skidoo avoids nicely.

Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skidoo.

Jones throws a hook to the side of Skidoo's head but Skidoo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jones and Skidoo are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Jones throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Skidoo into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Jones knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
