Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus McBorin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Threadgood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buddy Threadgood told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McBorin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Threadgood is trying to defend but McBorin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
McBorin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Threadgood does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcus McBorin will probably get the nod.

The ref is looking closely - McBorin is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! McBorin is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
