Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Lindel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomb comes to the cage accompanied by Casino Royale Soundtrack - You Know My Name. Lindel has chosen Clawfinger - Biggest & The Best as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mikael Lindel enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 57 - 26 - 7, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikael Lindel!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindel gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Mikael Lindel has been cut.
Bomb keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bomb throws a good cross that connects.
Lindel slips a straight right by Bomb.
Lindel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lindel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bomb fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lindel manages to avoid it.
Lindel with a hook.
Lindel cracks Bomb with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lindel catches Bomb with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bomb avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bomb throws a head kick that misses.
Bomb with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bomb throws a sloppy head kick and Lindel moves out of range easily.
Bomb takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A swing and a miss from Lindel.
Bomb lands with a slapping head kick.
Lindel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Bomb throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lindel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bomb defends well and Lindel ends up having to push Bomb into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lindel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
James Bomb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikael Lindel.
Lindel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bomb fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lindel darts in looking for a takedown but Bomb gets double underhooks and turns Lindel into the cage.
Lindel avoiding damage as Bomb throws knees to the body.
Bomb lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Bomb breaks the clinch.
Bomb throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bomb scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bomb throws a front kick aimed at Lindel's knee but Lindel avoids it well.
Lindel throws a body punch but Bomb moves out of range.
Lindel checks the leg kick nicely there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lindel takes a swing at Bomb's ribcage but misses.
Bomb slips a straight right by Lindel.
Bomb looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lindel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bomb defends it nicely.
Bomb lands a nice shot that snaps Lindel's head back.
Lindel takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A shot to the liver by Bomb. Beautiful body shot.

Lindel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bomb is looking for a sweep. Lindel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bomb keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bomb wants to sweep but Lindel has passed to side control!
Lindel passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bomb!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bomb tries to lock up and control but Lindel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lindel looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Lindel throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bomb is in a horrible position here. Lindel smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Lindel lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lindel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bomb looks a forlorn figure.
Bomb tries to hold on but Lindel pushes him away.
Bomb wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lindel.
A nice elbow there by Lindel.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lindel swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bomb is now in Lindel's guard. A big mistake from Lindel there, giving up the dominant position!
Lindel tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bomb is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bomb got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lindel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bomb has managed to get both his arms back between Lindel's legs - danger averted.
Bomb is stalling in the full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lindel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bomb doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bomb manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mikael Lindel will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Good exchange - Bomb coming out on top.
Lindel tries for a takedown but Bomb sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lindel shoots for a double leg takedown but Bomb sprawls well. He's pushed Lindel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lindel, as that shot connected.
We've been told by Bomb's head coaches at Athletic Advantage that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lindel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bomb swivels and escapes.
James Bomb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikael Lindel.
A good leg kick by Bomb.
Lindel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bomb can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bomb misses with a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from Lindel. Those never looked like landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lindel. Bomb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bomb looks to score with a jab to the body but Lindel is just out of range.
Bomb looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lindel misses with a double jab
enabling Bomb to counter with a crisp jab.


That has opened up Mikael Lindel's cut even more.
Lindel just misses with a punch to the body.

Lindel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bomb was well out of range. Poor timing from Lindel.
Bomb lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lindel is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Lindel or perhaps it was just good defense by Bomb which made him look bad.
James Bomb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bomb throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lindel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bomb sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bomb catches Lindel with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Lindel forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Bomb!
An out of breath James Bomb thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
