The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Talvilahti moves into the clinch.
Corleone tries to circle away but Talvilahti has him pinned against the cage.
Corleone has Talvilahti pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Talvilahti manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Talvilahti tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Corleone's elbow.
Talvilahti effectively controlling the action here.
Corleone is trying to drag Talvilahti to the mat but Talvilahti just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Corleone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Talvilahti will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Corleone up against the cage.

Corleone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Talvilahti but Talvilahti pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Talvilahti fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Corleone is out of range.
Corleone throws a series of punches but Talvilahti avoids them all with ease.

Talvilahti shoots in and gets a takedown into Corleone's guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Talvilahti throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Corleone works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Corleone is breathing heavily.
Talvilahti is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Talvilahti passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Talvilahti is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Corleone looks calm but he's in trouble here. Talvilahti gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Corleone is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Talvilahti lets go of the hold and Corleone can pop his arm back in it's socket.
