Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank DeNino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Boyette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeNino circles away from the clinch attempt
and DeNino counters with a one-two to the body.
DeNino misses with a hook to the body
and Boyette counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Boyette takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Trent Boyette has been cut.
Frank DeNino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeNino looks to score with a jab to the body but Boyette is just out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Boyette has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
DeNino throws a right and a left that both miss.
DeNino moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyette tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but DeNino paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boyette lands with a kick to the ribs.
DeNino scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boyette doesn't seem bothered though.

DeNino lands with a hook. Boyette tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Boyette is rocked!
DeNino lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Boyette is looking to close the distance but DeNino sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Boyette crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Boyette is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
