Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mayo Kermode!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Saraiva!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermode clinches with his opponent.
Kermode has a couple of punches blocked by Saraiva.
Saraiva's coach down at Team Listerman was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Saraiva's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A short uppercut from Saraiva.
Kermode throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Saraiva blocks it with crossed arms.
Saraiva pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Saraiva misses with a body punch.
A knee to the head by Kermode.
Saraiva takes an elbow to the forehead.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Saraiva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Saraiva goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Saraiva lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kermode lands with a short head shot on the inside.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

I was talking to Kermode's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Saraiva tries to throw a body punch but Kermode avoids it by throwing Saraiva back against the cage.

Kermode misses with some punches.
Kermode lands with a short shot to the head.
Kermode lands a damaging elbow.
Kermode lands a hook to the side of the head.

Saraiva creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Saraiva tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kermode's elbow.
Kermode throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Saraivas head.
Kermode misses with a hook from the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Kermode scores with a nice short uppercut.
Saraiva is rocked!
Kermode jerks Saraiva's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Saraiva drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kermode goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kermode because Saraiva was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Mayo Kermode!
Our winner, Mayo Kermode, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
