Russo comes to the cage accompanied by Volbeat - The Human Instrument. Tyler has chosen Yep as his entrance music. Vinny Russo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Russo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tyler defends it easily.

Tyler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Russo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tyler has managed to get both his arms back between Russo's legs - danger averted.
Russo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Russo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyler's head.

Tyler pushes Russo off looking to stand but Russo dives back in and keeps control.
Russo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vinny Russo will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A jab lands there for Tyler.
Russo throws a series of punches but Tyler avoids them all with ease.

Tyler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Russo's guard.
Russo has momentary wrist control but Tyler slips an elbow through the middle.

Tyler has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Russo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tyler is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Russo pulls down on the head and he's put Tyler to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vinny Russo!

Jake Tyler was interviewed post fight and said 'Should have had my damn Title shot. I wasn't motivated for this fight much. I am the Champion so it doesn't matter, I beat the Champion Ricardo Gracie and made him tap.'.
