Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hassan Al Aziz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Hassan Al Aziz!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws an off balance right hand
and Al Aziz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Storm with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Al Aziz counter with a right hand.


It looks like Mason Storm has been cut.

Al Aziz moves into range and clinches up with Storm.

Al Aziz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Storm throws a nice looking combination but Al Aziz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Storm misses with a hook.

Al Aziz forces Storm back against the cage and clinches.
Storm looking for a takedown.
Al Aziz gets underhooks to prevent Storm's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Storm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Come on Al Aziz - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Storm has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Al Aziz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Al Aziz jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Al Aziz throws a series of punches but Storm moves out of range.
Storm misses with an uppercut.
Storm has his takedown stuffed
and Al Aziz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Storm throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Al Aziz sees it coming and avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Storm doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Al Aziz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Storm is breathing heavily.

Al Aziz scores with a takedown into Storm's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Al Aziz controls from within his opponent's guard.
It looks like Al Aziz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hassan Al Aziz wasn't active enough on the ground.
Storm takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Al Aziz moves into range and clinches up with Storm.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Al Aziz gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Al Aziz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Al Aziz is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Al Aziz lands a couple of digs.
Storm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Al Aziz on the ground.
Storm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Al Aziz controls the pace.
Al Aziz lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Al Aziz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hassan Al Aziz.

Al Aziz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Al Aziz controlling the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Al Aziz works to advance to full mount. Storm defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Al Aziz looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Al Aziz lands with some strikes.


Storm is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Storm takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Al Aziz's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hassan Al Aziz!
Hassan Al Aziz seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
