The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dela Cruz tries to clinch but Dios moves out of range.

Dios lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Dios lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dios - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Dios gets control of Dela Cruz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dios will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dios manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dela Cruz manages to get himself to full guard.
Dios lands a couple of digs.

Dela Cruz is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rape Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Dios unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dela Cruz wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Dios celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
