Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rez Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortez comes to the cage accompanied by Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daddy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cortez cracks Daddy with an open hand slap.

Cortez thows a body shot but no joy.
Cortez misses with a double jab.
Cortez stuffs the takedown.
Cortez seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Cortez tries to keep at a distance but Daddy has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Daddy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cortez regains guard immediately.

Daddy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Rez Cortez has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Cortez lands a left and a right that send Daddy crashing to the mat, dazed. Cortez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Daddy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cortez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Cortez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Cortez feints a jab promting Daddy to slip. Cortez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Daddy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

He tries to recover but Cortez pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Daddy is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
