The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big head kick from Kouya and Oliveira is sent sprawling to the canvas!
It looks like Renato Oliveira has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kouya prevents Oliveira from getting back to his feet.
Kouya would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Oliveira wants to get back to his feet but Kouya is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kouya advances position into side control!
Oliveira is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kouya has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kouya lands a strong strike to the head of Oliveira. That's dazed him! Kouya looking to finish here. Oliveira is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kouya lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
