Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trinidad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez comes to the cage accompanied by Dan Balan Beautiful Girl. Jackson has chosen Nelly - Here Comes the Boom as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Rodriguez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jackson has Rodriguez pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodriguez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.
Rodriguez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
