Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Renner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Piscopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renner comes to the cage accompanied by Little Pills. Piscopo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm a Soldier kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Piscopo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renner looks to land a combination but Piscopo avoids it well.
Renner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Piscopo.
Renner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Renner takes a swing at Piscopo's ribcage but misses.
Nice jab there from Piscopo.
Piscopo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Renner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Renner shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Piscopo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Piscopo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Renner off and has taken his back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Piscopo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Renner circles away quickly and effectively.
Renner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Piscopo.
Piscopo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Renner swivels and escapes.

Renner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Piscopo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Renner takes a little break here. Piscopo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Renner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well Renner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
