Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maggot King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suu Kii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Make Them Suffer - Widower. Suu Kii has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Maggot King's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maggot King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suu Kii!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kii throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A solid leg kick lands there for King.
King throws a half hearted mid kick.
King tries a head kick but it misses.
Kii moves out of range as King throws a body kick.
King throws a head kick that misses

and Kii decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard.
King keeping moving, preventing Kii from controlling successfully.
King pulls Kii in close to his closed guard and prevents Kii from doing any damage or advancing position.
King wants to sweep here but Kii controlling him for the moment.
King trying to keep a closed guard but Kii is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kii drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Kii off! Kii jumps back into King's guard.
Kii throwing strikes but missing.
King looking for a sweep. Not yet King, not yet.
King wants to stand but Kii is controlling the position.
King controls Kii momentarily but Kii frees himself.
Kii slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

We're going to have a standup here because Maggot King wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
King misses with a low kick.
King looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
King fakes the leg kick and cracks Kii in the body.
Kii takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from King.
King on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kii throws a leg kick but King moved away.
Kii lands a nice leg kick that just misses King's sensitive parts.
King scores with a spinning back kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kii.
King misses with a kick to the body.
King lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
King lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kii's sensitive parts.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kii throws a nice head kick!
Kii moves out of range as King throws a body kick.
King lands a lovely overhand right.
Kii takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
King cracks the inside of Kii's front leg.
King connects with a solid leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from King.
Kii takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Suu Kii has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kii is able to avoid easily.
King avoids a punch combination nicely.
King lands a nice shot to the body.
King tries a head kick but it misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
King throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
King works the jab nicely.
Kii uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react.
Maggot King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King is looking to chop away at Kii's legs.
King throws the kick towards the body but Kii avoids it.
A bone on bone clash there as Kii blocks the leg kick.
King lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kii's sensitive parts.
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
King connects with a leg kick. Kii looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kii throws a leg kick that is checked
and King counters with a good low kick that Kii was not able to check.
Kii shoots in but no luck this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maggot King dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Suu Kii's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

King thows a body kick. Kii tries to catch it but that hurt him.

King gets a clinch.

Kii breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Kii looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for King!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You can see the frustration on King's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
King is looking to reverse the position.
King parries the strikes from Kii easily there. Kii is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable King to escape.

Kii tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Kii has an Americana. King didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kii is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kii hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Suu Kii!
