Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between carlos Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, carlos Escudero !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch up but Escudero circles away and keeps his distance.
Escudero looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Escudero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Escudero tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Escudero to the ground. Escudero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Escudero misses with a head kick.
Escudero tries a head kick but it misses.
Escudero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Escudero gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Escudero , up you get!
Silva wants to clinch.
Escudero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.

Silva shoots in and bounces Escudero off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Silva works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Silva moves nicely into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Escudero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silva has an Americana. Escudero didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
