Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Erik Erikkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carls Classic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikkson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Erikkson forces Classic back against the cage and clinches.

Classic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Erikkson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Erikkson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Classic on the ground.
Let's hope that Classic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Carls Classic hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Erikkson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Classic manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Erikkson wants to control from the top but Classic keeps moving.

Classic drops back looking for a leg! Erikkson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Erikkson manages to kick Classic off! Classic jumps back into Erikkson's guard.
Classic controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Erikkson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Classic is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Erikkson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Erikkson throws a nice looking combination but Classic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Classic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Classic passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Erikkson!
