Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zapatos Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spiral Stairs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zapatos Joe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zapatos Joe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe scores with a nice body kick.
Stairs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stairs tries to pass to full mount but Joe defends it.

Stairs has an Americana. Joe didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Stairs is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Stairs hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Spiral Stairs!
A relieved looking Spiral Stairs thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
