Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tero Karhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dae Su Oh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tero Karhula has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Karhula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dae Su Oh!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh lands a really nice looking cross but Karhula seems unphased.
Karhula throws a series of strikes that have Oh backpedaling.
Oh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karhula manages to avoid it.
Oh swings for the body but Karhula moves out of range.
Oh throws an overhand right that lands on Karhula's shoulder, as Karhula tries to avoid the shot.
Oh doesn't manage to clinch there - Karhula circles away.
Karhula bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Oh's head.
Oh slips under a jab from Karhula.
Oh moves away from the strike by Karhula.
Oh ducks under a wild hook from Karhula.
Karhula avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Karhula thows a body shot but no joy.
Karhula displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oh.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dae Su Oh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Karhula throws out the jab.
Oh closes the distance and clinches up with Karhula, looking for a takedown. Oh pushes Karhula against the cage but Karhula circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Karhula has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Karhula is fighting off a takedown attempt but Oh is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Karhula to the mat. Karhula regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Oh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Karhula is controlling him.
Karhula stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oh swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tero Karhula.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Karhula, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tero Karhula decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
