The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Han gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Han keeping moving, preventing McCullugh from controlling successfully.
McCullugh working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Han has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. McCullugh is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
McCullugh keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Han's efforts to push away.
Han blocks a body shot from McCullugh.
Han tries to break the clinch but McCullugh is controlling the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mahir Han is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Han moves into range and connects with a jab.
McCullugh takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McCullugh wants to clinch up but Han keeps it at a distance.
McCullugh tries to close the distance and clinch but Han swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McCullugh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McCullugh slips under a jab from Han.
McCullugh dives in and grabs Han's left leg, looking for a takedown. Han pushes down on McCullugh's head and hops out.
Han might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
McCullugh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Han fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McCullugh on the side of the head.
McCullugh gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Han.

Mahir Han showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

enabling Han to counter with a crisp jab.

Mahir Han comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
