PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rowdy Rousey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermain Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rousey's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Reputation. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rousey quickly recovers to half guard.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rousey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Rousey's legs - danger averted.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Johnson around the waist but Johnson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Johnson is the winner by TKO! Johnson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
