Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bane Cekic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bane Cekic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jigster looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jigster looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cekic is looking to control Jigster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cekic avoid being mounted?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bane Cekic hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jigster shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jigster was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Cekic is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jigster off and has taken his back!
Cekic throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jigster is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Cekic is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jigster has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jigster is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cekic gets his way!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cekic controlling the position well here. Jigster rolled but Cekic kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Bane Cekic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jigster seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cekic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jigster looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cekic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jigster winds up and cracks Cekic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Cekic is trying to stick to Jigster's back but Jigster is turning into Cekic. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cekic's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jigster.

I think Cekic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
