Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Cliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cliver throws a right and a left that both miss.

Cliver swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Poe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Poe counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Poe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Poe throws a right hand that Cliver ducks under and follows up with a left that Cliver also avoids with ease.

Cliver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

letting Poe counter with a right hand.

I looks like Poe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Poe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Edgar Poe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Poe lands a nice knee to the body.
Cliver drags the fight down to the ground.
Cliver is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cliver seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Poe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Poe wants to control but Cliver is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cliver escapes and gets back to his feet.

and Poe counters with a left and a right that stings Cliver.
Oh Cliver is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Cliver seems to have got his legs back now.

Poe drops Cliver with a beautiful combination! Cliver stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Poe is looking for the KO!

Poe clobbers Cliver with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Poe counters with a crisp right that sends Cliver to the canvas! Poe follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
