The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BIG closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barbosa circles away.
No luck for BIG with that takedown attempt.
Barbosa misses with a few strikes there.
BIG misses with a wild body shot.
Barbosa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barbosa misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barbosa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but BIG moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
BIG lands a body shot.
BIG swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Barbosa swats away the attempt to clinch by BIG.
BIG closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barbosa circles away.
Marcos Barbosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Notorious BIG.
BIG throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barbosa's waist but Barbosa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing BIG off to one side.
Barbosa is looking to land body kicks.
Barbosa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barbosa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
BIG loads up on a big right hand but Barbosa slips the punch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
BIG tries for a takedown but Barbosa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and BIG counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by BIG.

Barbosa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. BIG is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Barbosa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take BIG's back instead.
BIG looking very determined here, making life difficult for Barbosa.

BIG is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
BIG breaks Barbosa's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

BIG drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says BIG as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Barbosa screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with BIG! Nice submission victory there!
