Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Draiman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Carl Draiman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draiman shoots in looking for a takedown. Gabriel tries to sprawl out of it but Draiman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gabriel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gabriel gets caught flat footed, as Draiman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Draiman told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Draiman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gabriel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

I really don't envy Gabriel right now.
Gabriel manages to reverse the position and now he's in Draiman's guard. Nice work there by Gabriel.

A combination from Draiman does no damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gabriel. Draiman does a little dance to reset his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Gabriel enables Draiman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gabriel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Draiman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gabriel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Draiman has managed to get both his arms back between Gabriel's legs - danger averted.
