Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isiah Acer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanner Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Acer comes to the cage accompanied by Mad at Gravity- Burn. Speed has chosen Funky Kingston / Toots And The Maytals as his entrance music. Isiah Acer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Speed was well out of range. Poor timing from Acer.
Acer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Speed moves away.
Speed gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Acer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Speed takes a jab right on the kisser.
Acer misses with a takedown attempt - Speed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Speed tries a head kick but it misses.
Acer cracks Speed with a right hand to the side of the head.
Acer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Acer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Speed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Speed looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Acer shoots in looking for a takedown but Speed manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Acer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Acer closes the distance and clinches up with Speed, looking for a takedown. Acer pushes Speed against the cage but Speed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Speed lands a right hand that snaps the head of Acer backwards.

Acer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Speed wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Acer tries to free his leg and advance position but Speed is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Acer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speed swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Speed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Acer stuns Speed with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Acer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Speed manages to avoid it.
Speed throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Acer.
Speed tries a head kick but it misses.
Acer missing with a left hand there. Speed was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Speed has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Speed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Speed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Acer throws a hook to the side of Speed's head but Speed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Acer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Speed sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Isiah Acer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Acer goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Speed rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Acer's guard! Nice work there by Speed!
Acer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Speed!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Acer throwing strikes here but Speed is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Acer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Speed's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Acer looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Speed has picked Acer up and slammed him! Acer can't keep hold of the triangle and Speed manages to pass to side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Acer is looking to improve his position.
Acer is refusing to be controlled, as Speed sits in half guard.
