Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andy Bernard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anthony Christopher!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christopher tries to bum rush Bernard with a series of wild strikes but Bernard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bernard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Christopher to the ground. Bernard is now in Christopher's guard.
Bernard throws an elbow that misses. Christopher uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bernard's guard. Nice move by Christopher!
Christopher postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bernard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Christopher wants to control from the top but Bernard keeps moving.

Bernard uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Bernard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Christopher is one step ahead there.
Christopher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bernard pulls Christopher in close to prevent any damage.
Bernard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Christopher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bernard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Christopher will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bernard is pushing down on Christopher's leg trying to pass to half guard. Christopher is fighting to maintain full guard but Bernard has managed to sneak the leg through.

Crunch! Bernard slams his shin into Christopher's torso.
Christopher throws a right and a left that Bernard avoids nicely.
Bernard stuffs the takedown.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Christopher crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bernard - the referee stops the clock and Christopher gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bernard. Christopher manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Bernard throws a combination. Christopher tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Andy Bernard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christopher tries to close the distance and clinch but Bernard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bernard takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Bernard tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Christopher just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bernard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Christopher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Christopher postures up in Bernard's guard and throws a big left but Bernard blocks it.

Bernard is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Christopher lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Christopher drops back looking for a leg! Bernard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bernard manages to kick Christopher off! Christopher jumps back into Bernard's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Anthony Christopher.
Well Bernard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
