Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amos Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parks comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All I Do Is Win kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Amos Parks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peyton Smash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amos Parks!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smash swivels and escapes.
Parks dives in and grabs Smash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smash pushes down on Parks's head and hops out.
A slapping body kick lands there for Smash.
Smash fails with a takedown attempt.

Smash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smash fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parks avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peyton Smash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Smash has his foot on Parks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parks works his way back into a safe position though.

Parks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parks has managed to get both his arms back between Smash's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parks wants to get up but he can't break Smash's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Smash tries to score a body lock takedown but Parks shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Smash has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Parks uses from the top position.

Smash manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parks manages to get himself to full guard.

Smash gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Parks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smash paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parks tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smash defends well and Parks ends up having to push Smash into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Smash jumps guard but Parks stands there with Smash around his waist. Smash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Parks has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Smash after a bit of a struggle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parks is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smash wants to control the pace but Parks is squirming around nicely.
Parks wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Smash.
Smash prevents Parks from getting the reversal.
Smash throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Smash stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Smash connects with a solid leg kick.
Parks fails with an attempt to clinch.

Smash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Parks wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Parks has had enough of the clinch but Smash keeps him there for the moment.

Smash jumps into guard, dragging Parks to the mat.
Parks trying to control the position from guard on top but Smash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Smash is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Smash is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Smash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Parks tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smash just stands there and leans against the cage.

Smash gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Parks.

Smash is trying to drag Parks to the mat but Parks just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Smash tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Smash tries to pull guard but Parks holds him up against the cage and eventually Smash drops back down to his feet.

Well Smash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
