The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kehoe throws a chopping leg kick but Hardball manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kehoe tries to clinch but Hardball is having none of it.
Kehoe takes a kick to the side of the head.

Kehoe moves into the clinch successfully.
Kehoe throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hardball blocks it with crossed arms.
Hardball blocks an uppercut.
Hardball blocks the elbow strike.
Kehoe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hardball has him pressed against the cage.
Kehoe is trying to break free.
Hardball has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kehoe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kehoe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kehoe doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hardball tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Hardball turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hardball manages to end up in side control.
Kehoe manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hardball's best efforts.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
