Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emmanuel Zsorats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neck has chosen Deep Purple - Bad Attitude as his entrance music. Pencil Neck told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emmanuel Zsorats!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pencil Neck!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zsorats sprawls well. Zsorats wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Neck gets slowly back to his feet.
Neck takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Neck fails with a takedown attempt.
Neck takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Horrible takedown by Neck or perhaps it was just good defense by Zsorats which made him look bad.
Emmanuel Zsorats has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pencil Neck.
Zsorats finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Zsorats bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Neck tries to escape but Zsorats is in control.

Neck told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Zsorats is keen to just control but Neck is a slippery customer.

Zsorats wants to take a breather but Neck is having none of it.
Neck is controlling Zsorats's trapped leg to prevent Zsorats from advancing to side control.

Neck is wriggling around trying to escape.
Neck has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Zsorats's lack of action.
Neck is refusing to be controlled, as Zsorats sits in half guard.
Neck wants to control but Zsorats is keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zsorats is trying to control the action in half guard but Neck is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Zsorats goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Neck rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zsorats's guard! Nice work there by Neck!
Neck trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Neck slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Zsorats preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Zsorats bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Neck's guard.
Zsorats pushes down on Neck's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Neck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Emmanuel Zsorats overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neck takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neck is looking to improve his position but Zsorats isn't that keen on the idea.

Neck srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
Zsorats has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Neck is in real trouble here. Zsorats gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Neck is tapping out! Zsorats wins by rear naked choke!

A relieved looking Emmanuel Zsorats thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
